"How can you be a candidate who says let Detroit go bankrupt and who disdains manufacturing and who has his history in business of closing down factories and squeezing businesses for the profit of him and his partners but costing jobs?..."How do you then go back to people in the industrial Midwest and say, 'I'm the leader for you'?"
President Barack Obama Sr. Advisor David Axelrod on the auto bailout.
President Obama gave a speech in swing-state North Carolina on Wednesday promoting his energy initiatives, hot off of his first news conference of the year where Iran and Israel and calls for diplomacy remain relevant, as Republican arguments on rising oil prices remain counterproductive, especially for Republican red states and Europe in accordance with rising demand.
Similarly, on the subject of Republican talking points, it is an interesting thing to see the right Right-wing's efforts to dismantle America's working class for the sake of tax breaks for the rich get beat down by contradictory opinions from within the GOP.
Maybe this is a good sign that our Republican Party could be taking its first baby steps toward normalcy?....
Hey, I did say baby steps, lol
Meanwhile, President Obama is in the headlines for another speech he gave in attendance to a 1990 Harvard protest event recently brought to light by Fox News and conservative media just days after Andrew Breitbart's death, in their latest failed attempt to smear him as a radical with a racial agenda.
The President is also ramping up his re-election efforts among top fundraisers against embattled Republican presidential fearmongering candidate Willard M. Romney, INC., whose Mormonism is on the list of problems for his own campaign, including Newt Gingrich.
"Suicide pact" is the keyword on the topic regarding the targeting American citizens who engage in terrorism abroad, and the Right-wing's affairs on womens' health, as well as Limbaugh's dimming reprieve.
Editorial Note: Unfortunately, regarding the latter, it is things like Limbaugh's career that continue to polarize how people perceive the military in their arguments. It nullifies the respect and acknowledgement that our armed forces deserve as they fight and sacrifice their lives everyday for everyone, no matter what their lean is. The DoD needs to get with the program and part itself from the detrimental pandering of today's conservative media so we can have better conversations about the issues we face.
