As part of my ongoing efforts to further funnel my friends and fans directly to LowGenius.Net rather than chasing me through Facebook or MySpace or LiveJournal and so forth, I’m going to start adding many of my “shares” as articles here. To kick us off, we have Tool frontman and Dan’s Best Friend covering a King Crimson tune that my friend Dustin turned me on to way back in the 80’s, 21st Century Schizoid Man. This track’s also been covered by Ozzy and several other artists, and is probably the most commercially successful song Robert Fripp ever wrote. The break in the middle from 1:44 to 2:22 is some of the heaviest shit ever committed to media…and with horns, no less. Just an awesome track.
