Video - The Wrong Leaks

As I rather expected, I’ve already caught some hell about this one.  Unfortunately, I don’t feel like there’s any way to avoid facing the reality that the Obama administration is, at the very least by omission, allowing British Petroleum to exercise far too much control over the flow of information with regards to the Deepwater Horizon oil leak.  Now we are hearing, even from mainstream media journalists and pseudo-journalists like Anderson Cooper, that anyone taking photos of oil-soaked birds or unattended oil-absorbing booms or committing a variety of other newly defined “crimes” that all amount to observing and reporting the truth about what’s going on in the Gulf – including the photo that you’re looking at behind this blog, right now.

This is simply not an acceptable limitation of information in a free society, and so I’ve decided it’s time to call out our President and politely demand that this practice end.  All you need to do to add your voice to the chorus is watch and share this video, for which I thank you.
