Recovered

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

I’m mostly recovered from the weekend.  Very busy, met some cool people though.  Adding to the list of beautiful women I’ve met is always a good thing…adding to the list of drunk obnoxious fratboys, not so much.

Best tip of the Halloween holiday:  A thong, direct from the wearer.  Well, strangest tip anyway.  Maybe I can sell it in Japan…

It was a pretty crappy party season for a lot of people, judging  by the ones who were in my cab.  Seemed like everyone Saturday had some kind of drama or trauma or bad night happening.  I did get a few good photos though; I’ll get them on Facebook or something in the next day or so.  I need to get better business cards so I can get hooked up on FB and elsewhere with people.  I’ll take more pictures then.  Plus I’ll get more traffic here and hopefully make a few friends.

I hope everyone in Kalamazoo is voting Yes on City Ordinance 1856.

Still nowhere near the money I need to be, although I really do enjoy my job 90% of the time.

I hope the girl in the football player costume whose boyfriend was being a total douchebag is okay.

I spent a couple of hours hanging out with my new friends Whitney and Ariel, girls I’d picked up working.  It was the coolest little while I’d spent in a long time because we were all completely out of our own social circles so there was no affectation or posturing, just three cool and broad-minded people chilling and talking about random crap for a couple of hours.  I hope they both stick around a long time.  One can never have too many beautiful, intelligent, attractive, and good-hearted women in one’s life.

I’m going to get some more trip photos up in the next day or so, along with commentary.

Haven’t talked to Chad or Cherri lately so I’m not sure what the status is on my camcorder power.

Still dithering about the future of lowgenius.com.

Practiced a bit on Sunday.  Me & Shawn were both pretty beat, but we got a few songs in and went through the motions…which at this point is important because I’m so rusty.  It’ll be months before I’m back where I need to be in terms of speed and cardio and accuracy.

So much I want to do, and every day it’s not getting done.  Need money.

More trip pictures coming – by far the best is yet to come.  Also:  Halloween pics from the cab.
