Yes, that's right, the conservative world is pissed off today because President Obama apparently gave a polite bow to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia when they met recently.

Now, I want to be clear - I consider Saudi Arabia one of the most oboxious and offensive countries on the planet in terms of civil liberties, and especially in matters of women's rights, but let's get real here folks.  You meet someone, you bow, you shake their hand, you show them some dignified respect, even if you then sit down and excoriate their behavior at the council tent.

But I don't want to go off on a rant here, I just want to say one thing:

Maybe the hard-right conservative contingent prefered things as they've been for the last eight years, as our former President had us ALL bowing to middle eastern oil interest...but while facing AWAY from them, if you can dig that.

I kinda like this way better.
