Got paid, bought a computer. Getting things set back up now so I can start kickin out some jams on this sucker. Lots of programs to re-install and/or recover, blah blah blah, but not much to be done about it. I'm happy with it; obviously it's 'always need a bigger budget,' but what I've got going will do fine for now. And it's a prebuilt, so there's a year warranty on it if there are any issues. We'll see how it goes.
Meantime, yeah. TONS of work to do now. And of course it'd be nice to get a little WOW in on the new box, see how she flies. Definitely nice to have my own real estate back again. Couple hours' worth of moving files, and then I can get busy for real. I need to organize a couple months' worth of correspondence and projects and so forth, but I can do a lot of that on the fly, too. Need to wrap this big site with the final review by the 16th and launch on the 18th. In the process, I need to start writing a user's manual for my site. And I've got to move like five different sites off this server and on to my new space by April 1st. Tessa's book cover and getting her site back in order. A little cleanup work here and there on a job I finished several months ago. Getting two new sites off the ground. Trying to find more work. And and and.
Definitely not seeing any 8-hour 25-man raids in my near future.
I guess I'll go start collecting screenshots for DNN instructions while I'm transfering files and reinstalling progam. Wheee~!
