More musings

20. December 2008 by John Henry

Sorry I don't have some tremendously witty or topical 'bit' to set forth with today.  When I'm in a down phase, it tends to come with a lot of introspection and consideration of The Big Questions.

Lately I don't know if I need Seven Years In Tibet, or a multi-billion-dollar endowment...or what.  There's so much I want to do and share and be, and so little time to handle any of it.  And somewhere in the middle, the necessity of greed - I gotta eat, have a place to plug in my computer.  In a perfect world, have a way to make music and do lots of other things too.  Ah well.   Things will become as they become.

Profound wisdom delivered to you today courtesy of popular multi-genre author Dean Koontz:

"None of us can ever save himself; we are the instruments of one another's salvation, and only by the hope that we give to others do we lift ourselves out of the darkness and into light."

And you know...I just don't see a reason to add anything more to that.  Have a great rest-of-the-weekend.
