Flash Travelogue (Google Maps)
To use this page you should have Flash installed, javascript enabled, and a decent connection. Please note that because this is a rush job, the controls for the Flash player appear in the bottom-right of the FRAME, rather than of the PAGE as they normally would. This is a fairly standard flash player; use the question mark to expand the comments area, the play button to play it as a slideshow, the forward and back buttons to...you get the idea.
Note that to see all of the content in the frame, you'll probably have to scroll up and down. I'm on a 1680x1050 monitor, and the frame just fits vertically for me. Sorry :(
I had hoped to do much more with this, and probably will retroactively, but here it is for now. I hope you enjoy it!
About this Travelogue
A series of images from Google Earth showing the route and various stops I will make as I travel from Oxford, NC to Winters, CA. This trip will take me across the country through ten states - North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada - before my arrive at my new home in sunny Winters, CA. I'll go through several major cities on the way, but as this gallery features mostly my gas stops and stats relating to the trip, I don't want any search engiens to key in on the city names.
