Ah, the retcon.  Short for “retroactive continuity” and originally coined in the world of comic books, the retcon is a way of rewriting history.  When done well, it can take a minor plot point that has arisen of its own volition (and if you’ve ever done creative writing, you know what I mean) and turn it into its own story.  When done poorly, you get a whole lot of dubya tee eff. Just ducking in during a lull to finish some quick work here on the site.  I really dig this new layout and am having a lot of fun playing with it.  Please let me know if your browser has problems with it (and the geeks among you are not invited to submit bug reports for flippin Konqueror or some obsolete alpha-test version of IE 4 from 1996!) I changed the layout of the site back to the way it was for now.  I definitely want to change things up, maybe go for a radically different approach even, but I don’t have time to really get into it right this minute. Killin a little time before I head to work… Film Fans, especially horror/shock:  After long and intense consideration I have decided that there is a point beyond which vomit is no longer funny/shocking, but just gross and gratuitous, even if the point is to over-do it.
